The Father's Heart is For Us

The Father’s heart is for us…

Not truly understanding God’s love for us tends to be one of the biggest barriers in receiving His love and forgiveness.

At least it was for me.

I had made so many mistakes. I lived a selfish life apart from Him. I thought it would be too much work to get it right…and that just seemed impossible.

But nothing is impossible for God.

It’s not about anything we can do and everything about His power and love.

It’s His loving kindness that leads us to repentance and into right relationship with Him. We are drawn into relationship with people who love us, see us, accept us - all of us.

The Father's love is perfect.

God made us for relationship with Him. He accepts us in our mess and in our victory.

He can not NOT love us! He cannot go against His character or His word - He is LOVE.

I went from from believing in a historical distant God to following Jesus Christ as my living, loving, personal Lord and Savior.

Through Jesus we see the exact representation of The Father. We see His love, mercy, and grace.

I used to have walls up around my heart like Jericho — the walls we tend to build to protect ourselves, but ultimately hurt us. The only thing that could bring them down was God’s love. And He did. I cried out to Him, and in a moment my life changed forever. He touched my soul in an undeniable way. I was enveloped in a forcefield of LOVE right on my bedroom floor.

I have learned that my value, worth, joy, gifts and talents all come from Our Father in Heaven.

If there’s anything that I am sure of in this life, it is that — He Is For You!

Romans 8:31
God's Everlasting Love
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Hebrews 1:3
He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of His nature, and He upholds the universe by the word of His power. After making purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high

Romans 2:4
Or do you presume on the riches of His kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God's kindness is meant to lead you to repentance
