Love One Another

February is the “month of 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘”, but we are called to Love One Another 𝗔𝗟𝗪𝗔𝗬𝗦.

John 13:34-35

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.

This is a new 𝘾𝙊𝙈𝙈𝘼𝙉𝘿𝙈𝙀𝙉𝙏  we are given by Jesus to “love one another.”

We are reminded of this commandment by John the Apostle in 1 John 4:21, “And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙩  love his brother also.”

Many people are surprised when we begin a freedom ministry session that we start with forgiveness. I take it very seriously because Jesus is serious about it. Forgiveness is a major key to healing and deliverance. Forgiving others and receiving the forgiveness God offers us through repentance. (1 John 1:9)

I challenge you to do an inventory of your heart and ask God these questions:

𝙄𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙄 𝙖𝙢 𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙗𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙪𝙣𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙩𝙤𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙨?

𝙋𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧 𝙚𝙭𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚:

God, would you begin to bring forward any names of people who have held my heart back from full forgiveness? Anyone at all that still has pain, disappointment, bitterness and offense tied to them.

𝙄𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙄 𝙖𝙢 𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙮𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛 𝙞𝙣 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙡𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙢𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧?

𝙋𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧 𝙚𝙭𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚:

Lord, I thank You for your mercy, grace, and forgiveness. Please search my heart and show me the burdens that I am carrying that I need to cast at Your feet. (1 Peter 5:7) I know that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). You died for our sins to be covered in Your blood. This is the truth of what you accomplished on the cross. Your sacrifice is such an unfair transaction that it has been hard for me to hand those things over to You, but I know I need to. Please help me to let go of any shame and guilt and walk in Your forgiveness and total freedom.
